"I want all the colors, techniques and designs from each culture to blend. I redesign them and mix up the processes. I edit them, learn from them, make them my own, but retain their essence."

Designer John Robshaw is known for his iconic Indian-inspired textiles, bold colors, and hand-painted pillows. From humble beginnings as a painter in New York, John Robshaw has grown his globally-inspired textile and furniture business into a multi-million dollar business. Robshaw's fabrics are inspired by his travels to India and Southeast Asia. There he observed traditional fabric making and the skills of local artisans to create his own multicolored block print designs.

The New Fall/Winter 2020 Collection Live at Fig Linens and Home embodies the classic internationally-inspired fabrics of the line. It brings muted autumn colors to John Robshaw's textiles in both classic and reinvented patterns. For instance, the fall/winter collection has many classic John Robshaw indigos on patterned decorative pillows and hand-stitched quilts. However, you can also experience a cozy new fall version of the color with the John Robshaw Velvet Indigo Throw Blanket. Autumn stays fresh with sage green bedding and moss green pillows. The collection presents a whimsical twist on Robshaw's classic animal hand-painted pillows with a new Cheeky Peacock pattern. Read more or experience the entire collection here.

John Robshaw's Sage and Moss Green Bedding

Moss Green. It's the color of the season (spot shades of green featured by Ulla Johnson, Tory Burch, and Anna Sui at NYFW). Now, shop the most beautiful in moss green bedding from John Robshaw Fall/Winter 2022. The gorgeous 100% Cotton Asma Quilt by John Robshaw has a reversible print in moss green and sand patterns. This luxury coverlet is inspired by linework drawings and is the perfect weight for any season. Sink back into ultra-soft organic sheets in the subtle Cinde Sage Pattern in fitted sheeting, flat sheeting, and pillowcases. Fig's stylists recommend pairing a delicate pattern like this with a larger shape like the leaf pattern on the Verdin Dark Sage Bolster Pillow by John Robshaw. Prefer a darker green? The feathered pattern of the John Robshaw Riya Sage Bolster pillow.

John Robshaw's Velvet Quilts and Pillows

The new John Robshaw Velvet Throws and Pillows bring an autumnal twist to the look of the classic John Robshaw hand-stitched quilts. The velvet textiles comes in a 50" x 70" throw blanket size perfect for the couch or the end of the bed. The solid dyed cotton velvet front and cotton sheeting back make the blankets both beautiful and comfortable. The maturity of the velvet material is offset by the fun detail of the cotton tassel corners. They are also available in two sizes of adorable Jorn Robshaw throw pillows: the kidney pillow (12" x 18" rectangle) and the larger decorative pillow (22" x 22"). Again, these throw pillows look gorgeous on a sofa or a bed! In three seasonal colors: velvet moss, velvet sand, and velvet indigo, this John Robshaw textile is a must-have.

John Robshaw Indigos and Blues Reimagined

Indigo and blue have always been staple colors of John Robshaw's designs. Beginning with the beloved blue circular pattern of the Lapis Quilts and Shams, John Robshaw's indigos have the versatility of navy but with a lighter touch. This season reinvents the classic shade, applying indigo block prints to crisp white backgrounds on blue John Robshaw throws and decorative pillows. Alternatively, shop for a lighter shade with delicate designs on John Robshaw's Maham Light Indigo Decorative Pillow. Celebrate the transitionality of the season with a pillow that you can use both indoors and outdoors: The Adira Indigo Indoor Outdoor Pillow. In a classic indigo blue block print, this throw pillow looks excellent on your patio or in your living room.
